Real setup (summary)

FX3 as A cam
Full frame, low light, XLR handle for both sofa SM7s without a separate recorder.
FX30 as B cam
Host interview angle and solo profile. Super 35, built to match the FX3 in edit.
24–70 GM II
Main zoom: sofa guest, solo cutaway, or Swiss army when framing is still moving.
50 Art
When we want separation: solo face cam, background fall-off, portrait look.
16–35 PZ
Wide and FX30 host (~35 mm) until the 35 GM arrives; not the guest hero lens.
Pocket 3
Wide master, cutaways or BTS. Does not replace Sonys on the main axis.

A cam: guest / solo hero, direct XLR, full-frame cinematic look.

B cam: host or solo profile. Super 35, matched to the FX3 in post.

5.5" monitoring: exposure, focus, LUT and waveform before we roll.

Sofa wide master, cutaways and BTS. Smaller sensor, safety role.
iPhone (Filmic Pro)
C cam or social when we need it, LUTs aligned.

USB capture for calls, OBS or camera recording on Mac/PC.

Sofa guest (FX3), solo cutaway (FX30). The most used zoom on set.
